Post Office

Helen Foster-Grime joined Liberal Democrat MPs from across the North West in Central Manchester today to launch their Petition against the latest wave of Post Office closures.

Helen said, "Only the Liberal Democrats have consistently campaigned against Post Office closures and have a real plan to protect and improve our Post Office network. Over 3,500 Post Offices were closed under the last Tory government, and since Labour have been in power over 4,000 have closed and they are now announcing details to close 2,500 more. This has got to stop!"

Details of Post Office closures are to be announced on Tuesday 10th June.
