Support Grows for Lib Dems

Vote for Helen; Vote Liberal Democrat

The European and local elections on Thursday look set to be close and dramatic. You can still help to give our campaign an extra boost.

Sunday's combination of the ICM poll putting the Lib Dems in second place and The Observer calling on people to vote Liberal Democrat has given our campaign extra momentum in the crucial last few days. Today's Independent calls the Lib Dems "the most consistently constructive British party on the European Union, a stance which has given their honest criticisms of Brussels' shortcomings all the more credibility."

You can help keep that momentum going by putting up a virtual election poster. If you use Facebook, instant messaging or similar social networking services, changing your profile picture is a great way of letting your friends know you're supporting the party.

Click on the link below to get our "I'm Voting Lib Dem on 4th June" image. Save this picture to your computer (in most web browsers, right-click and choose to save the image) and then upload it as your profile picture to Facebook, instant messenger or other social networking sites.

Of course, you may not use any of these services - or you do and are looking for something extra to do. In which case, please do get in touch with your local party and help out in the last few days. But if you can, please do put up your virtual poster. People often say they will vote for us if other people will vote for us too. A good online 'poster' display is an easy and effective way of helping persuade them to vote Liberal Democrat on Thursday.
